Martha Ann Collard

Founder of Red Doors Studio

Martha Collard is the founder of Red Doors Studio, which she established in Hong Kong in 2015 as a platform to make ancient intuitive practices—such as gong meditation, labyrinth walking, and sound therapy—relevant and accessible to modern lives. Her career and life paths have followed a common theme: elevating others.

After stepping down from her position as the youngest Partner worldwide at TASA, a Swiss-based executive search firm, Martha launched her own management consulting company in 1992. She has since worked as an executive coach, management consultant, professional facilitator, and career counsellor, most recently serving as Vice President of Group Organisational Wellness for the Lane Crawford Joyce Group.

Her personal journey into alternative practices began with curiosity and evolved into deep study. She has explored Reiki, Transcendental Meditation, Vipassana, Access Bars, the Yuen Method, and labyrinths, among others. She was the founding chairman of the Yoga Society of Hong Kong and founding Editor of Namaskar magazine. Today, her focus is on gong meditation, Kundalini yoga, and labyrinths—practices that have given her balance, strength, and understanding.

Martha works with Maggie's Cancer Support Centre, Cancerlink, the Nesbitt Centre, special needs families, and schools including HKIS, Harbour School, Kellet, Island School, and CDNIS. In 2015, she introduced walking meditation on labyrinths to 34,000 scouts at the 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan.

She leads sessions, teaches, and performs regularly in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, New York, and Ottawa. Her clients include luxury spas and hotels such as Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, Shangri-La, and The Siam Hotel, as well as corporate clients like KPMG, lululemon, and Ogilvy. She has performed at festivals including Wonderfruit (Pattaya), Clockenflap, and the New Healing Festival in Germany. She was a keynote speaker at the Global Wellness Summit in Singapore and has presented at TEDxHong Kong.

Her sound therapy training includes work with Gong Master Don Conreaux, Jens Zygar, Mitch Nur, and Mehtab Benton. She completed the Sound Therapy program at the Globe Institute, is a Kundalini Yoga Level 2 instructor and YA500, and has trained in singing bowls, overtoning, and integral sound. She is also a Death Doula, Laughter Yoga Facilitator, and Accredited BLove Flumie teacher. One woman, two hands, one purpose: fuelled by a passion to help others.
