Luisa Hogan is a Leadership Resilience Strategist and the Founder and CEO of Vermelho Consulting, a boutique firm built around one belief: resilience is a daily practice, not a survival tactic, and a leader doesn't have to pretend to be strong under pressure to be a great one. Luisa's path here wasn't theoretical. Years ago, she stepped into a CEO role at a failing organisation, determined to turn it around. Despite months of effort, belief, and real signs of progress, the board ultimately decided to close the business. Everyone, including Luisa, lost their jobs. Her team nominated her for a leadership award anyway. That experience permanently changed how she sees leadership, and it became the reason Vermelho Consulting exists: to help leaders find steadiness in the moments that test them most.

Over her career, Luisa has held multiple C-suite roles, led teams of over 300 people, and managed multi-million dollar budgets. She has built two award-winning businesses and spoken at more than 200 events on leadership, resilience, and change. She holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Specialised Certificate in Positive Psychology, a Change Management Professional Certification, and Certified Resilience Practitioner training. What sets Luisa apart is her focus on self-awareness under pressure, the specific, learnable skill that lets a leader stay clear-headed when everything around them is shifting. She works from a simple multiplier effect: help one leader become steady, and that steadiness moves through their entire team.
