Awareness Coach

As a professional tennis player and later a high-performance coach, Leo found that his own breakthroughs came not from thinking harder, worrying, or chasing outcomes, but from remaining in a state of awareness. He later realized that the same pattern expresses itself at a systemic level, discovering through his research into distress and failure, in companies on one side, political regimes on the other, that progress gets interrupted not by a lack of capability, but is held back by attachment to constant judgment and conceptual thinking. Real action, whether in moving, writing, learning, or simply making a decision, happens through awareness, not through the concepts and measurements the mind builds around it.

Leo founded KnowOne to help clients operate from their full potential now, working through challenges without the stress caused by judgment or self-doubt. He believes societal change toward greater prosperity begins the same way, individuals learning how to live from awareness and understanding that any concept they hold in their mind is never entirely true.

He co-founded Echelle Benin, a nonprofit helping students in high-dropout areas of Benin complete their education, and co-authored research on diversionary war theory that was recognized as the Best Paper of the Year in 2016 by the journal Conflict Management and Peace Science. He teaches mindset and meditation classes in New York City, and works with individuals and organizations to help them operate from a state of awareness, where high-performance and prosperity unfold naturally.
