Co-Founder & Program Lead, CAAIE | CEO, Vascular International

Kimia Kiser is the Co-Founder and Program Lead of CAAIE, a Swiss applied AI education platform for professionals, executives and organizations. She leads the program strategy, designs the curriculum and teaches across selected formats herself.

CAAIE grew out of a recurring observation. Organizations are investing heavily in AI, yet many professionals are still left to figure out on their own what good work with AI actually looks like. Tool demonstrations alone rarely close that gap. The underlying concepts, sound judgment and the ability to translate them into real workflows are what make technology useful in practice.

That is why CAAIE focuses on structured application rather than individual tools. Its formats include the Certified Applied AI Expert program, executive education, corporate workshops and industry-specific learning. The goal is not simply to help people use AI, but to build the capability to work with it confidently and responsibly.

Kimia is also CEO of Vascular International, an international school for practical vascular surgery education and simulation. Together with a team of around fifteen people and a faculty network of more than one hundred medical experts, she leads the organization's strategic and operational development. Running an expert-led education institution has shaped how she thinks about quality, trust and the systems required to scale professional learning.

Alongside this, she co-founded Kimiana with her sister. The consultancy supports selected organizations in translating strategic clarity into systems, workflows, automation and AI-enabled ways of working that hold up in practice.

Kimia began her career at Schindler, where she spent more than six years working across global application services and large-scale digital programs inside an international organization. She later joined BCG as a Senior Technology Consultant. Experiencing technology from both inside organizations and as an external advisor continues to shape how she approaches her work today.

Across everything she builds, teaches and writes about, the same question remains: how do we help people and organizations work better with technology? Her answer consistently starts in the same place: most companies do not have a technology problem. They have a clarity problem.
