Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Coach Trauma Therapist

Julia is a trauma counselor, Certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, and Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (in training). She is the founder of Trauma in a Nutshell™, an educational platform raising awareness about trauma, narcissistic abuse, and nervous system-based healing. In her private practice, Julia has supported hundreds of survivors—primarily women—from over 15 countries across three continents. Her work centers on helping clients reclaim safety, self-trust, and empowerment after narcissistic abuse, coercive control, and complex trauma. She has trained multiple cohorts in trauma healing foundations and taught private courses on attachment theory. Her approach integrates training in Somatic Experiencing® (Peter Levine), systemic family therapy and constellation work (Bert Hellinger), and narcissistic abuse recovery (Dr. Ramani). She also holds Master’s degrees in Social Work and Psychomotricity—an embodied, movement-based approach that supports trauma integration and secure attachment from early development onward. Her work emphasizes the long-term impacts of psychological manipulation, coercive control, and early attachment trauma—and how to heal from them. Julia is known for her grounded, nervous-system-informed approach that combines clinical depth with lived experience. She holds space for survivors with clarity, humor, and compassion, offering practical pathways to healing, agency, and resilience. She has spoken at international events like the No Mind Festival in Sweden and on platforms such as @natvnetwork (1M+ YouTube views). She also leads international retreats and healing groups. Currently, she is developing an online course for survivors, a training for clinicians, and her own podcast.
