Jenica Rasmussen is a Nurse Practitioner and the CEO of OneTide Wellness, dedicated to transforming how patients approach their health. Her commitment stems from her personal experience with infertility issues, where she felt unheard and alone until she discovered a physician who helped heal her hormones, leading to the birth of her daughter. This experience fueled her mission to become a Nurse Practitioner, where she takes a unique approach to patient care.
 
Jenica's practice focuses on empowering patients to delve into the root causes of their symptoms, rather than merely masking them with medication. Through the use of functional labs like GI-MAP and MRT food allergy tests, she identifies and eliminates inflammatory foods, aiming to reset and heal the gut microbiome. Jenica believes that a healthy gut is pivotal in addressing a multitude of health conditions, including hypothyroidism, rheumatoid arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, anxiety, depression, and more. By focusing on gut health, she strives to alleviate the suffering caused by these conditions and to restore a better quality of life for her patients.
