Jacquelyn Clemmons is a visionary leader in maternal health, resilience, and personal transformation. As an author, certified birth and postpartum doula with over 20 years of experience, she is dedicated to redefining postpartum care through culturally rooted traditions and holistic healing practices.
 
Jacquelyn is the creator of Intrinsic Doula Design, a mentorship framework empowering birthworkers to build sustainable, values-driven practices. She also mentors high-level birth professionals, guiding them in scaling their businesses with intention and impact. Her expertise extends to consulting, coaching, and designing culturally relevant curricula that address the needs of Black maternal health and postpartum well-being.
 
A sought-after speaker, Jacquelyn captivates audiences on topics of birth, resilience, authenticity, and connection. She is the author of A Doula’s Guide to Improving Maternal Health for BIPOC Women and the producer of Jazz and the Blues, a short film exploring the emotional landscape of postpartum recovery. She has contributed to Afro.com, the nation’s oldest Black newspaper, and is expanding her thought leadership through platforms like Brainz Magazine.
 
Through her work, Jacquelyn Clemmons continues to elevate conversations on maternal health, mental well-being, and the profound strength found in the journey of motherhood and beyond.
