Ishtar Gonzalez is an Intuitive Psychotherapist, Ascension Guide, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, High Priestess, Quantum Healer & Divine Channel. She is a wayshower; bestowed with divine remembrance in the overlighting of Christos and awakened to her cosmic encodings as starseed & multi- dimensional healer. Ishtar embodies many facets of the god.dess and as a devotee she walks a noble path of  love, creativity, & service.
Ishtar attended Douglass College at Rutgers University for her undergraduate studies. At this time, she became privy to the great discrepancies in History; fascinated by the Latin American, Caribbean & Africana studies that she pursued.  She was deeply affected by the lack of acknowledgement & reverence for the communities that reflected essential parts of who she was; a person of color and a woman.
It was the echoes of these classes united with her own story that shaped her life's calling. As such, at the ripe age of 22, as an advanced scholar,  she was accepted to pursue a Phd in Anthropology. Yet, decided to follow the loud whispers of her heart &  walked out of orientation. She walked away from the promise of a doctorate and took a year off to volunteer in different soup kitchens in some of  the most impoverished neighborhoods of New York city. Her commitment was to tend to the garden, to her community directly and with devotion.
This led to her pursuing a Masters in Clinical Social work which she obtained from New York University in 2006. Ishtar served the underprivileged & marginalized communities in NYC for 15 years, working one on one and in group settings with a full spectrum of mental health issues as well as complex trauma. She focused on the youth but has vast experience working with adults and the elderly. She was dedicated to advocacy for those in need & focused on bringing inspiration & possibilities to those who were in lack.
As she immersed herself in the world of psychology, her spiritual sphere also grew. After her personal transcendent experiences, she became certified in the White Tantra path of  Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan at the Golden Bridge in Soho. She also co-founded a collective known as Meraki whose mission was to offer sacred space via spiritual retreats and an array of esoteric based workshops to an eclectic community of seekers, mystics and artists. Ishtar was called forth by the divine feminine. She was activated in the womb mysteries by the lineage of Isis- Auset. Years later she would be initiated in the Order of the Rose, she now walks the path of devotion within the overlighting of Sophia.  Amongst a plethora of clinical studies, certifications, and training, Ishtar is also certified as a trauma healer both in Trauma Informed CBT as well as Trauma Resolution Energy Therapy.
Born in Venezuela, educated in New York where she currently still resides and works she continues to support clients from many walks of life through sacred transformation. Her private practice is a fusion of intuitive psychotherapy as well as quantum offering to support the individual & the collective.
