My childhood experiences are the foundation of my mission to help others reconnect with their inner strength, purpose, and ability to move forward through adversity.
I was adopted at two months old and raised in Minnesota and Wyoming. From an early age, I dreamed of becoming a global music artist. Growing up as the only biracial child in my family came with emotional challenges, including dysfunction and identity struggles, but music and faith became my anchors.
At 14, I was diagnosed with epilepsy and faced additional challenges throughout adolescence, including time in group homes and emotional trauma. Despite this, I remained committed to music and later advanced in the American Idol auditions at 19. Shortly after, I experienced a serious accident requiring extensive recovery.
Seeking structure and direction, I joined Job Corps in Indiana, graduating with honors in Security/Military Training and Leadership & Management. There, I developed youth fitness and wellness initiatives and strengthened my leadership foundation.
I later served in AmeriCorps NCCC, supporting nonprofit and environmental projects across the U.S. and training as a Type 2 firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service. During this time, I also experienced profound personal loss and trauma, which led to a long journey of mental health recovery, resilience, and rebuilding.
I went on to work as a peer support specialist, completed studies in Criminal Justice, and engaged in mental health education through organizations such as NAMI San Diego and RI International. These experiences deepened my commitment to helping others transform adversity into growth.
I am currently pursuing a double major in Digital Music and Creative Entrepreneurship at John Paul the Great Catholic University. As a spiritual music artist, I create work centered on healing trauma, emotional release, and self-discovery. I am also the founder of “Inspired 2BInspired,” a mentorship initiative focused on mindset transformation, confidence-building, and personal empowerment.
My work is rooted in one belief: life does not define you – your response to it does.
