Elise Loprieno distills a distinct sense of purpose from dreaming up metaphors that demystify the landscape of Self-Worth.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she recognizes the countless challenges presented by an obscured sense of Self-Trust. This awareness inspired her to found Glimmer of Purpose Family Therapy in California – as a beacon to guide her local clients through the fog of uncertainty and change. Throughout years of trauma-informed clinical practice, teaching, and use of psychotherapy models like Dialectical Behavior Therapy & EMDR, she has unearthed behaviorally-underpinned barriers to emotional wellbeing such as perfectionism, people-pleasing, and burnout.

Elise is particularly interested in handwriting as a playful and versatile vehicle through which memory, meaning, accountability, imagination, and legacy can commune.

To expand global awareness of these tools, Elise created Reflection of the Mind, an international Intention Consulting platform for mental health education and reflective practice, born from her belief that insight becomes even more illuminating when we see it mirrored back in our own written words.

Across her work, Elise revels in refining therapy-informed reflective tools and in hosting deep discussions that cultivate Self-Respect. For her clients, this work often manifests in introspective insights, healthier boundaries with themselves, and more intentionality around personal standards for success.

Her articles map out the landscape of one's inner life and annotate its influence on one's interpersonal experience: the values people inherit, the stories they maintain, the choices they reclaim, and the ways individual healing can ripple out to mend families, workplaces, and communities.
