Daniel Paul Gray
Writer
Daniel Paul Gray is an author, speaker, and former professional mixed martial arts fighter whose work centers on accountability, redemption, faith, and the possibility of rebuilding after failure.
Gray’s life has taken him from professional fighting and years spent abroad to addiction, personal collapse, federal prosecution, and ultimately prison following his involvement in the events of January 6, 2021. Rather than separating himself from the worst chapters of his life, he has chosen to write and speak openly about them, examining both the decisions he made and what it took to change afterward.
While incarcerated, Gray began writing what would become his forthcoming memoir, The Men from the Medium. Much of the book was written by hand from his prison bunk, documenting events while they were still unfolding. After his release, including a period of homelessness, he continued the manuscript and began rebuilding his life.
Today, Gray writes and speaks about personal responsibility, resilience, forgiveness, faith, incarceration, and starting over when a person’s life has gone badly off course. His work is grounded in a simple conviction: your worst chapter does not have to be your final one.
