Damien McCoy

Founder

Damien McCoy is a visionary creative and compassionate caregiver whose work bridges business, design, and healing. He is the founder of Sunblaze Media Group, a storytelling and tribute platform that honors lives through photography, videography, graphic/web design, and emotionally resonant memorials. With an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Career Quest Learning Center and certifications as a CNA, RBT, and CPR provider, Damien brings both operational rigor and heartfelt service to every project.

His professional experience spans caregiving, paraeducation, and administrative support, including roles with Help at Home, Okemos Public Schools, and Advance ABA Therapy, where he currently serves as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting youth with autism and developmental needs. As a certified tourism ambassador for Lansing, MI, Damien also uplifts local history and culture through creative campaigns and inclusive programming. His technical skills include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, QuickBooks, and proficiency in office equipment and data entry.

Damien is known for his excellence in customer service, collaborative spirit, and ability to communicate with empathy and clarity. Whether supporting children with disabilities, crafting legacy keepsakes, or spotlighting Black history, he remains deeply committed to helping others build their dreams and preserve their stories. Through Sunblaze Media Group and Blaze Legacy, he continues to empower families, communities, and changemakers with tools for remembrance, connection, and healing.
