Dalia AlUsta is a registered psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist based in Ontario, Canada, with a rich multicultural upbringing and over a decade of international experience in human development, mental health, and trauma recovery. Born and raised in Europe within a multi-faith household and educated in a Christian boarding school, Dalia developed early exposure to diverse worldviews; an influence that continues to shape her culturally sensitive and inclusive therapeutic approach.
She holds dual master’s degrees in Sociology and Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University, Honours), a Postgraduate degree in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the University of Toronto, and a bachelor’s degree in information technology and MIS from Philadelphia University. She has led programs addressing resilience, life skills, and mental health support for refugees, displaced populations, and war-affected youth. As a researcher, she conducts needs assessments using focus groups, surveys, and storytelling to identify developmental priorities and influence policy and aid design.
Dalia combines strength-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused approaches to support clients facing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and identity issues. She is also skilled in visual storytelling and documentary filmmaking to amplify the voices of marginalized communities and communicate the impact of humanitarian initiatives.
Empowered by her global journey and deep compassion, Dalia is committed to guiding others toward healing, clarity, and meaningful transformation.
