CEO & Co-Founder, EchoMind AI
Charlene Coleman is the CEO and Co-Founder of EchoMind AI™, a platform that maps the strengths, challenges and burnout prediction of neurodivergent individuals.
The platform organises cognitive strengths into eight EchoTypes, giving individuals and organisations a strengths-first profile of how they think and work, so they can design their environments to match their brain’s natural thinking patterns. A cognitive-fit work environment.
Coleman and Co-Founder Dr Lucas Fortaleza designed the world's first Family Wellbeing assessment, giving neurodivergent families and parents of neurodivergent children the knowledge and agency to create a harmonious home environment. Ultimately, learning how to understand and communicate with each other.
Diagnosed with ADHD at 42 and Autism at 43, Coleman knows first-hand what happens when the diagnostic system is built around one kind of mind. That lived experience shapes her thesis - it happens when the diagnostic system is built around one kind of mind. The people it missed didn't appear from nowhere. They were always there. The system just never counted them.
Driving her to build an ecosystem for neurodivergent people, EchoMind AI™ profiling platform and a pathway for adults accompanied by a diagnostic clinic that’s neurodivergent and female friendly. Drawing upon Dr Fortaleza foundational research into autistic women. He authored 21 books and personally conducted over 5,000 Autism/ADHD assessments.
It drove her to build an ecosystem for neurodivergent people: the EchoMind AI™profiling platform and a pathway for adults, accompanied by a diagnostic clinic that's neurodivergent- and female-friendly. The ecosystem draws on Dr Fortaleza's foundational research into autistic women. He authored 21 books and personally conducted over 5,000 Autism and ADHD assessments.
Her mission is simple. No brilliant mind gets left behind.
EchoMind was built from one of the largest neurodivergent datasets in the world! Insights drawn from 46 psychometric instruments and 1.45 million people, that’s over 43 million data points, growing by 200,000 respondents each year.
Coleman spent fifteen years in strategic business growth, orchestrating over £100M in revenue through MANDA Ventures projects. She has led distributed global teams, restructured distressed companies and sat on boards where executive function and strategic thinking carry the weight. That operator background is how EchoMind got built. Coleman is the strategic, technical and product lead behind EchoMind's two platforms.
Her forthcoming whitepaper, Every Kind of Mind, argues that cognitive fit is the next wave of recruiting and leadership management. As AI automates linear work, the minds the old system screened out are the ones the new economy needs.
EchoMind is well positioned to identify the right talent for the right outcome, going deeper than skills-based hiring. The dataset has surfaced patterns clinicians are only beginning to see. AuDHD as the default, meaning autism and ADHD together. 1AM screening peak that tells you everything about masking. A gender gap hiding in plain sight.
By combining both founders' assets, Coleman and Fortaleza have built the foundation of the EchoMind Care ecosystem. Tunnel vision on one outcome.
Better lives of neurodivergent people.
Coleman is an honoree of the Davos Neurodiversity Summit 2025 Leadership Wall, author of The Neurodivergent Philosopher, keynote speaker and regular expert-panel contributor. She lives in Greystones, Ireland with her wife Sorcha and their dog Bear, and spends weekends hiking in the Wicklow Mountains.
