Master’s-Level Mental Health Therapist | Doula

Brigid Owino is a mental health therapist, full-spectrum doula, and founder of Perinatal Wellness Partners, where she helps individuals and families navigate pregnancy, postpartum, reproductive experiences, and major life transitions. Her passion for perinatal mental health was shaped by her own experience navigating a traumatic pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic, inspiring her commitment to improving emotional care during some of life’s most significant transitions.
 
Brigid combines her clinical training in counseling psychology with her experience as a full-spectrum doula to provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate the emotional complexities of pregnancy, parenthood, identity shifts, and personal growth while developing resilience and self-compassion.
 
Beyond her clinical practice, Brigid is dedicated to advocacy, education, and strengthening her community through volunteer service with organizations focused on families, wellness, and connection. Through her practice and writing, she works to expand conversations around maternal mental health and promote greater awareness of the importance of accessible, compassionate care.
