
Brad Rhinehart
Author
Brad earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Idaho State University in 2000 and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2004. He has also studied English literature at Liberty University. He has practiced primary care optometry since 2004 and, in 2023, founded and began co-hosting The Stretch Podcast, which emphasizes ideas from literature, music, film, and sports. His interests include reading, writing, and woodworking, and he is an excellent home cook. His first book, Everyday Genius: Principles of Creativity and Innovation for Life, was released in August 2026. In it, Brad draws on his interdisciplinary background and varied interests to examine principles of creativity and innovation that can be applied by anyone. He and his wife Heather have five children, two dogs, six chickens, and a hive of honeybees.
