Art Business Coach

With a background in the arts beginning in the late 1980s, Alan Freshman explores the thriving contemporary art scene in SOHO or lower Manhattan. After attending the International Center of Photography and The School of Visual Arts in NYC, he gets hands-on studio experience and skills in the fields of photography and Graphic Design. He then begins his own creative journey by shooting photography on the streets of New York City.
Alan sets out for New Mexico in the 1990s, and he has success in the field of Training & Development to help professionals optimize their learning abilities and help them relearn how to learn.
He eventually returns to New York State and starts up a fine arts gallery in Beacon, NY beginning in 2006. It affords him the opportunity to curate monthly art exhibitions and run his own entrepreneurial enterprise.
In the current role of an Art Business coach, he draws on his broad experience and helps artists overcome challenges, clarify their professional goals and take actionable steps to achieve their goals. His work centers around helping artists to create a sustainable art practice and thriving art studio. As a Success Catalyst, he helps them achieve their goals with a 3-month plan on a fast track.
