There are three parts to getting money flowing into your life. They are money IQ, money EQ and gratitude.

Money IQ is your mindset around money. Money EQ is how you feel about money, how your body reacts to your thoughts. For your money to flow, it is not just your mindset but also your body. It is a mind and body experience. It is not only having a positive mindset around money but having a positive feeling around money too.

There is equally an IQ and an EQ around money.

Many people change how they think about money but overlook how they feel about money. If your body is not in tune with your mind, your body can equally block money flowing in the same way that your mind can.

The IQ is how you think about money and what you learn about money. Many people learn how to trade on the stock market or buy and sell a property or do a Degree to earn a higher income, this is all money IQ.

However, it goes further, money IQ also includes what you think about money as this translates into words and actions. If you believe money is evil or that you have to work hard to earn money, or that you can’t afford certain things, that will all translate into words and actions, which of course becomes your reality.

These beliefs mostly come from childhood. You may have heard your parents or adults around you say, “No, we can’t afford that.” Or “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” Or “Do you think I’m made of money.”

These negative money mindsets or money wounds, as Ken Honda calls them, can limit your flow of money. It will show up as not wanting to ask for a pay rise, or when you are negotiating a salary, you negotiate a lower salary than your worth, or you are fearful when spending money.

In business, it can show up as under-pricing your goods or services, or discounting unnecessarily. It can also show up by hoarding money or always feeling that you don’t have enough money to pay your bills or go on holiday. There are many ways a “money wound” or a negative money mindset will express itself.

Then there is the EQ, your emotional intelligence as Ken Honda describes it. One can have a positive mindset, and still, the flow of money is blocked.

If this is true for you, then check in with your body. If when you think about money, your body cringes, or you feel tight in one area of your body, then there is a block that needs to be cleared or released for money to follow.

When your mind and body are not in sync, there will be inner turmoil, with your mind being positive and your body still holding negative beliefs. Although money will flow better than having a negative mindset, it will still be an uneven flow of highs and lows. When your mind and body are in sync money will flow more evenly, like your breath, in and out steadily.

Money is a commodity and we think of it as such. However, if you reframe how you think about it and think of money as air or energy it starts to lose its negative power.

No one worries whether they will have enough air to breathe tomorrow or next week, or next year. When you have a positive mindset and bodyset towards money, you know that you will always have enough money, and it will come to you easily and effortlessly.

Money should flow in and out of your life just as you breathe in and out. So as money comes in, be grateful and as it goes out, be grateful. Florence Scovel Schinn said “Bless the money that comes in, bless the bills that come in as paid and bless the money that goes out as being replenished many fold.” Ken Honda says something similar, say “Thank You as you receive money and say Thank You as you spend the money.” I noticed that in this act of gratitude, my body relaxed and became more open.

The amount of money that you are being grateful for does not matter, it is the act of gratitude that keeps the money flowing.

So to have money flowing into your life easily and effortlessly, your mind and body need to have the same beliefs surrounding money.

If money isn’t flowing steadily into your life, I can help you resolve it either in a one-to-one session or in my course.
