infinity concept of Conscious Leadership

What is Conscious Leadership?

Conscious Leadership is the intersection in our behavior between awareness and impact. This constant investigation is what sparks growth and learning. The Conscious Leader has extraordinary self-awareness and the agility to act congruently with what’s happening. They are present to meet situations. In this paradigm, there is a recognition of the importance of individual and collective conscious behavior along with the impact on others and our environment.

Why is Conscious Leadership relevant today? Why does it matter?

With 8 billion people on the planet, this modern world is much different. A long time ago, someone spent all day milking cows – growing food to survive. As time marched on, while working in factories, we had our place on the assembly line. People spent all day creating widgets. Even when working at desks, accounting was manual. In previous times, people each had their independent tasks.

Today, in this global economy, and modern world, we work with each other in teams.

  • We interact across cultural and societal norms as well as time zones.

  • The sharing of information, knowledge, and wisdom is a commodity.

  • Relating and collaborating are THE skills of our times.

  • Human development and constant learning are required in the modern world.

Here are a few of the skills associated with Conscious Leadership:

  • Presence

  • Emotional Intelligence

  • Masterful Listening

  • Speaking from Presence

  • Healthy self-esteem

  • Resilience

  • Inclusion

  • And many more…

As you can see, the skills I’ve listed here are relevant in our complex world. Do you want more of this “consciousness stuff”?
