Microbiome. Gut Health. Probiotics. These are all buzzwords in the health and wellness space at the moment. Our scientific knowledge of the vast 20-30 ft tunnel that is the gut continues to increase day by day. However, most of us don’t realise the impact that impaired digestion can have on the rest of the body.

Woman having painful stomach pain

Picture this: You have recently been diagnosed with a chronic disease – seemingly out of the blue. You’ve been “eating healthy” and taking care of yourself for years, so where did this pop up from?

Your gut might not be the first suspect you think of considering when you’re trying to find the root cause of your discomfort.

It may be that you have suffered from mild bloating, or developed a new intolerance in the past but didn’t realise it was your body giving a warning sign. And now that you have a chronic disease you know you need to make changes but are not sure exactly what to do.

Perhaps you are already tweaking your diet to try to help. You have even been to see your family doctor, only to be given a leaflet on healthy eating with no information on HOW to do it.

Maybe you have decided to self-diagnose using Professor Google, anecdotes from friends and advice from your mum; and are now chugging down some Kefir yogurt or adding probiotics to your daily supplement routine, in the hope it might fix your issues.

Let me tell you this, you are on the right path with your instincts.. I see women like you in my virtual clinic every day and you are not alone in your quest!

They, just like you, were surprised to find out how much of an impact their diet and digestion are having on their health when they started working with me.

Chronic diseases influenced by gut health

There are a variety of conditions that have Gut Health as a root cause, and can be supported by improving digestion alongside medical therapy.

1. Autoimmune Conditions (such as Psoriasis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Eczema, Crohns, Ulcerative Colitis, Multiple Sclerosis)

2. Conditions arising from Hormonal Imbalance (such as some cancers, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, Thyroid disorders, acne, PMDD, acute peri-menopause symptoms)

3. Metabolic Disorders (e.g., pre-diabetes, impaired cholesterol balance, IBS, fatty liver disease)

But… is the gut to blame in every single case? How do you find out?

My advice is always to “Test, Don’t Guess!” It is advisable to consult with a healthcare practitioner who can help, (of course, if symptoms are severe then see a doctor immediately).

Meet the small but mighty hair test

Hair testing has been nothing short of revolutionary in my virtual clinic headquartered in the UK. It is simple, non-invasive, accurate, and results are usually available within a week.

It utilises bioresonance technology, which taps into the body’s electromagnetic field, capturing comprehensive data from the hair’s cellular structure. After all, we literally ARE what we eat!

The science behind it lies in the principle that hair retains information about our health, reflecting imbalances & deficiencies.

In fact, from just a few strands of hair we get information on food sensitivities, hormone balance, gut bacteria and digestive enzyme levels to name a few!

Using this information is powerful when combined with education, high-level coaching and targeted supplementation to heal and restore digestive function.

Every woman who has joined my program has benefited from doing the hair test and improving digestion. In just 12 weeks, we implement permanent dietary and lifestyle shifts to improve digestion and health, without any strict diets or exercise regimes.

By analysing the hair test, I can tailor precise nutritional and lifestyle recommendations to fit a busy lifestyle. It empowers my clients to make targeted adjustments, effectively restoring hormonal balance, improving Gut Health and enhancing overall vitality.

Are you intrigued by this approach? Curious how the hair test might help, and whether it would answer YOUR questions? Then why not book a FREE Health Portrait session?

During this, I will personally assess your health history, nutrition & lifestyle, so we can “paint a portrait” of your current health and provide you with a Personalised Action Plan. You will receive this regardless of whether you decide to do the hair test or not.

Note this offer is exclusive to Brainz readers only, so be sure to mention the article when booking!

Remember, Gut health might hold the key to unlocking better wellbeing. If you’re grappling with hormonal issues and/or a chronic disease, then don’t overlook your digestive health.

Embrace the possibility of reclaiming control over your body, and master digestion for a healthier life. Trust Your Gut!
