One thing I am super passionate about is helping online entrepreneurs rapidly expand their incomes. In fact, between 2017 and 2020 I 7x my yearly income from my corporate job. I’ve helped countless clients triple their monthly revenue within months of working together. And although these are great numbers to look at and talk about, the internal work to get there can be really tricky. So here are my best pieces of advice if you’re looking to double or triple your current income this year and are confused with where to start.

Be unapologetic about what you want.

Lots of people talk about wanting to make more money but few people actually do something about it. Your ego may want to try and bring you down by telling you it’s not possible or that you’re asking for too much and if you’re not careful you’ll start to talk yourself out of what you actually want. In fact, most of my clients come to me with big goals and then once they get to implementing the actions required to get to them they start to think they’re asking for too much. You can never ask for too much. Your goals can never be too big. So the first step to getting ready to grow quickly is to acknowledge and accept that this is what you want and that it’s only going to make you and the people around you better.

Accept the periods of hustle and flow

In order for you to grow quickly in a short period of time, you’re going to need to accept that you might have weeks or even months of working overtime. You might even get to a point of overwork ‒ especially if you don’t have the right team in place. Understand that there will be a certain amount of sacrifice for you to hit your big goals in a shorter period of time. On the flip side, you won’t be able to hustle for more than a few months at a time before you burn out. And if you push for too long, you might actually be doing your business more harm than good. Instead, prepare yourself for longer days when necessary but also schedule in rest time in between periods of hustle to give yourself more time to recharge. Your productivity will be much greater when you give yourself time to rest and recharge.

Learn from the right people

Invest in coaches and programs that are specialized in your niche to learn the fast track to getting what you want. There are so many amazing programs out there, including my own, that will show you how to efficiently grow your business in a shorter period of time. Investing in mentorship can be one of the best things you do to ensure you grow as quick as you want to without as many headaches in the process. When you invest in a program for people in your specific niche or industry you’re putting yourself years ahead of your competition.

Always come back to your why

When you’re doing things that most people wouldn’t dare to do you’re going to come up against resistance. Since entrepreneurship is incredibly risky, you’re also going to come to points where you’ll fail and want to give up. If you’re moving fast your fear will also want to tell you to slow down. Understand that these are all normal feelings, emotions and bumps in the road as an entrepreneur. The more you grow the more you risk. Coming back to why you’re in business and why you want to double or triple your income in the first place will help you stay focused even in the face of adversity.
