Why have you chosen to work with startups?

We prefer to work with startups because of their innovative projects and ideas. They are open to exploring emerging technologies and adapting to the rapidly changing world and circumstances. Startups often bring something new to the table, and this vibe is consistent with SolveIt’s priorities and vision.

Plus, our experience in establishing and growing SolveIt has provided us with hands-on insights into overcoming common startup challenges.

We know how to find and manage finance, build a strong team, develop a successful product, overcome high market competition, and manage scaling. It makes us well-equipped to help startups navigate the complexities and uncertainties of scaling their businesses.

Overall, the energy, enthusiasm, and potential for groundbreaking innovation make startups a natural fit for SolveIt.

What do you consider the main challenge most tech startups face?

I believe that the main challenge most tech startups face revolves around the constraints of time and resources. Startups often operate under tight timelines and limited budgets. As a result, they are prone to hasty and faulty actions like choosing low-cost development companies or freelancers with little expertise.

Unfortunately, such decisions have unintended consequences. Startups can find themselves in a situation where their resources and time have been exhausted, yet the final product is plagued with bugs and far from meeting the intended deadlines.

If his situation hasn't discouraged the founder, he will need to seek additional contractors for further refinement or redevelopment. As new specialists need time to onboard, estimate the current situation, and figure out the action plan, it prolongs the process and increases costs.

We strive to address this challenge by offering cost-effective services without compromising on the quality of our deliverables. We aim to provide startups with a reliable and dedicated team that can collaborate closely and ensure vision execution.

How has the COVID-19 pandemic influenced tech space and startups? Do you see the influence of it nowadays?

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a groundbreaking influence on the IT industry.

Due to the physical distancing measures, we have seen a surge in the use of digital platforms for remote learning, telehealth, e-commerce, and more.

Plus, it changed consumer behavior. Since COVID-19, users have become more inclined to online shopping, contactless payments, and digital experiences. Now it’s obligatory to create user-friendly mobile apps, enhance e-commerce platforms, and offer seamless digital experiences for a successful product.

The pandemic also made remote work a new normal. More companies rely on outsourcing services and create distributed teams which is beneficial in a cost-wise way and can bring unique expertise to the table.

So, COVID-19 has become a catalyst for long-term changes in the tech space. It accelerated the pace of digital transformation across industries and set trends such as remote work, telehealth, e-commerce, and e-learning. Startups that are flexible to align their offerings with these trends have a competitive edge.

What is the most exciting project you have had so far?

Recently, we developed and launched a social media platform for the LGBTQ+ community. Not only was it an exciting project itself, but also the mission of this platform is highly inspiring and impactful.

This project's goal is to create a safe virtual and offline space for the LGBTQ+ community. The product owners want to achieve it by providing a platform that allows end users to easily connect and create friendships with like-minded individuals. It also allows exploring local business that provides services and products to the community.

I cherish such forward-thinking projects that bring a difference to the world. Our client is also an incredible person and a very inspiring entrepreneur, so it was a pleasure to work with her. I liked how smoothly the project ran and the results we gained: 2,000+ downloads and over 30 transactions during the first two days!

Can you give advice to startup founders?

I’d emphasize these three important points that increase chances for success:

  1. Work with the right partners. Choosing the right partners is one of the most essential aspects. You should look for talented people and trusted companies who share your vision and are committed to achieving your goals as if their own. Finances are important, but culture, approach, reviews and reputation, experience are no less important criteria. your business rate can be many times more important

  2. Start with a minimal product, the simpler and clearer the better. Don't try to build a spaceship from the beginning. On the contrary, to make a successful product, you should start small and fast, continuously validate your assumptions and iterate on your product based on user feedback.

  3. Focus on solving a real problem, with a simple and concise high-quality solution. No one wants to invest time and money in a product that has no value and market potential, thus, revenue. So, make your primary focus to address a genuine pain point or problem faced by your target audience.
