Lena Thompson, Leadership & Human Design Coaching

Who is Lena?

I live in UK, Surrey with my 2 kids, aged 14 & 8 and the British Blue cat called Anakin (my kids are star war fans, hence the name!).

I was born in Soviet Russia where I lived until age of 13 when we moved to Israel and shortly after to South Africa. It took me a while to settle in and learn English. It was a challenging time since nobody could understand me and it felt very isolated, but I guess this is when I learnt to become resilient and self-reliant.

After school I followed what I thought was the right thing to do and enrolled for a degree in Computer science, graduating with cum-lauder and job offers to few companies. I didn’t particularly care for computers, but enjoyed the social aspect of my job. Couple of years into my career, an opportunity to relocate to UK came up and I jumped at it without a second thought.

For a while, I could not believe my luck and was wondering how did I get to be so lucky to work at Microsoft aged 26 on the project for Ministry of Defence?! I loved my job, especially the travelling, which I did a lot of being a consultant.

But when kids were born, the travelling stopped and I began to get restless. I job hopped for a while and eventually moved into contracting, wanting something new and exciting to motivate me, but was never satisfied for long.

Eventually, I got to the point where even money did not motivate me any longer. There was something bigger coming through me but I had no language to express how I felt as it felt so unfamiliar. This is when I got into meditation, self-development and asked myself a few life-changing questions.

Finally, I summoned up the courage to make few drastic changes. I quit my job and started my first business while trying to figure out who I truly am and my reason for being here.

Over the last few years, I learnt a lot about myself. I let go of many limiting beliefs and stories, and this is just a start, as the journey of self-discovery never ends.

Being an entrepreneur is a mind game where one has to be deeply connected to their purpose to face challenges and fears but still have the passion and courage to carry on.

What is it that you do for your clients?

I help leaders, executives and entrepreneurs to find freedom of self by discovering what sets their soul on fire so that they can navigate through challenges with more ease and break the patterns which are keeping them stuck.

To do that I l use an innovative cutting-edge system of Human Design which is a road map for self-understanding and achieving highest potentials based on your energetic definition.

Human Design provides you with an insight on your emotional, psychological and energetic makeup, and when you integrate it into your life, it aligns you with your true nature and deep sense of purpose.

Who should hire/work with you?

Open-minded entrepreneurs, executives, team leaders, corporate employees who want to live more fulfilled lives with integrity and purpose.

What is your big goal? Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

My goal is to introduce Human Design and spirituality into workplaces and businesses.

I see myself as a motivational speaker travelling all over the world, speaking in front of large audiences, providing them with the tools which will enable them to take ownership of their lives and become conscious creators.

Tops 3 tips on achieving more personal freedom

  1. Create space in your day where you are not doing, only being. It can be quietly sitting on the couch or going for a walk in nature.

  2. Strengthen your mindset by adopting meditation, journalling, breathing etc.

  3. Learn to say NO to things that don't light you up. Your energy is your highest currency and each time you compromise and try to be who you are not, you are wasting it.
