We have been told to trust facts and to mistrust emotions, leading us to ignore or disown how we feel. Our bodies store emotions in our cells. If we are attentive to our inner voice, our Soul, we can change our perspective and learn to release emotions as we walk toward emotional freedom and strength.

No blaming or excuses

My first step toward emotional freedom was learning from Jack Canfield's The Success Principles to take 100% responsibility for my life, no blaming, and no excuses. I had to own my feelings about everything and learn to work through my emotions. Since I felt much of my struggle was everyone else’s fault, I had a lot of changes to make.

Obey your soul

Secondly, I learned to obey my Soul from Wallace Wattles's The Science of Being Great. I began to trust myself, my intuition, and my infinite power.

Ease and flow

Third, I learned to live with ease and flow. I have global dreams and visions for my future. I do what I can each day to create my impact. My intentions, beliefs, and actions are part of my story. The other part of the story is Divine Love, which helps to make my dreams come true. Our dreams come toward us as we reach for them. Someday, timing and love will meet, within the realm of my life, at just the right moment, and boom, my dreams will happen!

Given our uniqueness, we may have a lifetime of lifetimes to accomplish our Soul’s mission! So, whatever I do not complete in this lifetime, I will pick up where I left off in the next. I live with ease and flow no stress, no worries. Whatever will be, will be.

Some of us live with trauma and violence. Ease and flow are not possible in times of extreme stress. I am so sorry. Please take care. You will survive in this life or the next realm. Someday, your tormentors will see and feel what they have done and learn from it.

Seven ways to release life-draining emotions

Here are several ways to release life-draining emotions and their related stories.

  1. Breathe through your nose, hold it, and with a sigh, breathe out through your mouth any stress, tension, pain, or anger you sense in your body. Imagine you are breathing out through the body area that comes to mind.

  2. Use your hands to sweep across your arms, torso, and legs.

  3. Sweep your hands back and forth from your palms across your fingers.

  4. Say, “Release, release, release”.

  5. Think of a negative emotion you would like to release. Ask your body where it is stored. Focus on that area of your body. Take both hands and sweep up from your lap over your head to the base of your neck until you feel released. Create a mind movie of how the emotion is being released. Next, name three positive emotions you would instead have installed in your body and do so.

  6. Creating an inner mantra that is more profoundly true and positive than what you have believed about any situation will rewrite the story you tell yourself, which will also release emotions.

  7. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, wiggle and shake your body, and it just may make you giggle!

Create empowering emotions

Your subconscious mind doesn't only store negative emotions. It also stores empowering emotions! To strengthen and expand empowering emotions, you can journal and meditate. You can create fantastic mind movies about being the hero in any circumstance. When given the opportunity to be a hero, you will step into that role naturally. You can become the hero of your own life. As you fall asleep, imagine your dreams coming true.

I see myself as an author and a speaker. In real life, when I speak, the room is silent, and people are leaning forward as though they don't want to miss a word.

We can change the past, present, and future

I guide clients to change their perspectives on the stories they tell themselves about their past, present, and future. Our logical brain thinks we cannot change the past. However, everything in the past is a story we remember from our perspective.

Even the emotions we store in our body from the past can be accessed through a remembered story. If a person wants to move forward, release emotions, and change the story they believe about the past, they can do so instantly at the subconscious level through meditation and hypnosis.

Sometimes, we need to release deep emotions that we have held against someone to heal from past trauma. We can trust that love and natural consequences/karma will teach them what they need to learn.

If the past is troubling us in the present moment, it is a present-moment issue. Changing and healing our perspective can make our painful experiences seem like scars that are there but no longer hurt. We can remove the scar, too!

Our future is full of infinite possibilities. Our thoughts, intentions, and actions create our tomorrows. Even though we can be affected by those around us, locally and globally, we have Love, that heals us and holds us all together.
