Are you ready to break free from financial sabotage and have the wealth you want and deserve? You are not alone. Financial freedom and security are often a desire that we have in life, yet what we desire and how our beliefs sabotage our reality are often on opposing sides. We have the desire to be free from living month to month, to have more independence, and money in the bank for travel and leisure. In this article you will find some top tips on how to manifest your own financial freedom.

 Financial Freedom sign

What is financial freedom?

Financial freedom is the state of having sufficient personal wealth to live comfortably without being dependent on a regular paycheck. It means having enough savings, investments, and cash on hand to afford the lifestyle you desire for yourself and your family.

What holds people back from financial freedom?

Often, when it comes to people investing in themselves, there’s resistance to do so. Feeling that ‘when I reach a certain level of income’ then I’ll invest in myself. And herein lies the problem.

Waiting for an external event to feel a certain way or attract a new reality will always result in the same outcome. Like Einstein’s quote, “Doing the same thing again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity”.

So, if you want a different outcome, i.e., a higher salary, more money in the bank, or financial freedom to travel more, then you’ll have to do something different.

This starts with the beliefs that you have about money.

It is about catching the limiting beliefs and the origin of where those beliefs stem from. This could be from your childhood, such as your parents saying something to you when you were young. Who’s heard these comments before?

  • “Money doesn’t grow on trees!”

  • “You have to work hard to be rich”

  • “You’re not good enough to be an entrepreneur”

  • “You’re never going to be wealthy”

  • “Fill in your own experience and story around a limiting belief”

These beliefs become ingrained in our subconscious running on autopilot as behaviours that play out in our lives.

The first step to overcoming these is becoming aware of what your beliefs are and where they stemmed from.

Do limiting beliefs hold you back?

  • Do you hold yourself back from applying for another bigger/higher-paying role because you feel you’re not good enough?

  • Do you not ask for what you want in a promotion because you think you’re not worthy, you believe you have to wait for the next promotion cycle, or there’s no ‘budget’?

There is always a way to get what you want – if you believe in it! The belief is key here. And then stepping into the power of what you want.

There are countless examples of the impossible becoming possible. How about the 4-minute mile runner Roger Banister breaking the world record of running a mile in 4 minutes that was thought to be impossible? Or entrepreneurs that create products and companies that were thought to be impossible and ludicrous but they proved people wrong?! We all know the success stories of Elon Musk, Richard Branson, and many others.

So, if you are ready to break free from financial sabotage and to have the wealth you want and deserve, then here are my recommendations. Manifesting financial freedom involves a combination of mindset, action, and being in the energy of abundance vs lack.

8 steps to manifest financial freedom

  1. Clarify Your Goals: Clearly define what financial freedom means to you. Is it having a certain amount of money in the bank, freedom, safety, owning a home, travelling the world, or not worrying about bills?

  2. Manage Your Finances: Take control of your finances by budgeting, saving, and investing wisely. Track your expenses, prioritise saving, and seek opportunities to grow your wealth. Where you put your attention you put your energy, which in turn will GROW.

  3. Positive Mindset: Cultivate a positive mindset towards money and wealth. Believe that financial abundance is possible for you. Reframe limiting beliefs about money with empowering positive ones. Affirmations and visualisation techniques can help reinforce positive beliefs.

  4. Gratitude Practice: Cultivate an attitude of gratitude for what you already have. Gratitude attracts more abundance into your life and keeps you focused on the positive aspects of your financial journey.

  5. Surround Yourself with Success: Surround yourself with people who have achieved financial success or share similar goals. Their mindset and habits can inspire and motivate you to stay on track.

  6. Visualise Success: Use visualisation techniques to imagine yourself living your desired financial lifestyle. Feel the emotions associated with achieving your goals as if they have already happened.

  7. Take Action: Take consistent action towards your financial goals. This might involve increasing your income through career advancement, starting a side business, or investing in assets that generate passive income.

  8. Stay Persistent and Flexible: Manifesting financial freedom is not always a linear path. There may be setbacks and challenges along the way. Stay persistent, adapt to changes, and remain committed to your long-term vision.

Remember that manifesting financial freedom is not just about wishing for it; it requires consistent effort, discipline, and a positive mindset. Keep focused on your goals, take action towards them, and trust in your ability to create the financial abundance you desire.
