No To Becoming A CEO – ⁠The Easy Way To Success

A couple of years ago, I was managing a company I loved; cool product, fun sector, and most importantly 2 bosses with big hearts and even bigger ambitions.⁠

After working together closely, expanding the team, and creating a big vision, I was offered the position of CEO and later take over the company I was already leading. After a lot of talks, the deal was a no-brainer, at least for the outside world...⁠

My family, my friends, society, and my Ego all said to go for it. Such a logical step to take, such an easy, big opportunity for success.⁠

But I did not feel it. So much overthinking… There was an inner voice whispering "No" and I was trying to make sense out of it, proving that voice wrong. That Mind vs. Heart game.⁠

Suddenly it all made sense


So I finally decided to listen to my intuition and not go for it. We decided to close the company and I went full out for my side project, my hobby, my true passion; helping others grow and expand living their dream life through mindset coaching.⁠

What a hard decision to make but once done all went into flow. It all made sense. Not saying creating a new company is easy, but when you are sure about yourself and the impact you want to make in the world, that will become your motivation, even on hard days.⁠

The heart v.s the mind


The funny thing is, the decision was so hard in my head but it was so clear in my heart, from the very beginning. You see, the rational mind is confusing us more than we think (irony?) to try to fit us in this fast-paced obedient society. ⁠

Listen more to what you hear inside, that is hardly ever logical but o so much wiser. Get curious and listen to yourself. Life is not logical, so why do you try to make decisions that way?⁠

Saying no = saying yes


Saying NO to becoming a CEO to say Yes to following my passion. And guess what; I actually became a CEO of my own life and so can you.
