I first heard of the Business Roadmaps service through a startup community in Maastricht, the Netherlands, where I'm based. Initially, I didn’t understand the uniqueness of the Business Roadmaps approach. I knew they used the Business Model Canvas method, which has been popularized across the globe, but I failed to look beyond that tool to see the host of other techniques they employed in their method. I nearly wrote the company off as a typical business coaching service like so many others I have seen before. That misjudgment almost cost me fresh business insights that improved my KPIs, an important relationship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Like many business owners, my narrow perception can prevent growth and progress.

Something caught my attention and prompted me to look more deeply at Business Roadmaps. I soon realized that I had underestimated Business Roadmaps' value proposition. In addition, I hadn’t considered how Business Roadmaps could provide much needed help for my startups.

In addition to running startups, I provide creative consultancy and execution for people who need brand communication design, UX/UI design, and product strategy. I use traditional tools like the Business Model Canvas, SWOT analysis, and the brand equity pyramid as well as other major marketing methods. But I hadn’t found the best way to illustrate the business needs of my clients; more specifically, I wanted to effectively and swiftly identify what the business may lack and the appropriate action plan to address that lack. Too often business owners remain blind to potential opportunities that are embedded in an unidentified shortfall. I wanted a method that could propose a smooth, effective solution for achieving business goals in a seamless, natural way.

Combining Business Roadmaps with my expertise meant that I could powerfully maximize brand, product, and communication strategy potentials in my business in three critical areas:

  • Business Roadmaps’ strategy model canvas and general UX research provides the most comprehensive and digestible overview of product and service positioning.

  • Business Roadmaps’ strategy model canvas and brand equity pyramid yields the most efficient brand development theory.

  • Business Roadmaps’ organizational model canvas clarifies crucial human resource needs for product strategy.

Not only has Business Roadmaps inspired me to look at my clients’ situations from a different angle, but it has also prompted me to analyze my various startups’ positions. The Business Roadmaps method consistently and effectively demonstrates a clear picture of what is missing and how to remedy this missing element. The process has given me an exciting new perspective that I still feel enthused about every day, even after years of working with the system. I felt – and still feel like – sharing the method with everyone, which is what ultimately convinced me to pursue becoming a Business Roadmaps coach.

In my excitement about the Business Roadmaps method, I sought out the CEO and founder, Jean-Paul, in 2019. Even though my schedule is quite hectic, I asked if I could join his team to bring Business Roadmaps to the Japanese market. I am happy to say that he agreed and I have been successfully working with Business Roadmaps for the past two years.

If you would like to revolutionize your approach and take an inspiring, fresh look at your business, look no further than the Business Roadmaps method.
