The N..in C.H.A.M.P.A.G.N.E STANDS for non verbal communication highly developed. So here goes..

But before we start a foreword.

We attract things that cause us to become who we are. So to change the things we have we need to change the Inside.

To have more, we need to become more.

To become more. We need to understand what More is. MORE human understanding will make us more and more valuable. And more will be given to us.

The clue in life is to expand our skills. Why? Its very helpful in minimising challenges. And reaching goals that are meaningful to find a higher purpose.

One of these amazing skills are Non Verbal communication.

Continue to work harder on yourself than on any other human being. This includes your job. If you are worker harder on your job rather than yourself. BURNOUT IS LOOMING.

BY working harder on yourself rather than your job. You increase your worthiness on the job.

By understanding a human heart is equal to understanding the hidden mystery of NVC.

Work on non verbal communications and watch how mysterious hidden secrets of humans are revealed.

Work on attitude toward yourself, job and others using NVC.

Work on your body language.

Communication is a Gift...including non verbal communication.

Success is something you attract.

You attract

You develop

You become...

What you become is much more valuable than what you GET...

It's not about what you get from the job.

It's not about what you get from teams.

It's not about what you get from colleagues.

It's what I Become.

Become Cynical attract cynical and cynical becomes not just a negative trait but you BECOME IT...

Become Passionately positive and attract positive people and things and success. You then become attractive, passionate and looked up to.

NVC..NON VERBAL COMMUNICATION

These are messages and signals we emit and transmit consciously or unconsciously.

We give off signals. These signals do not come with a manual.

However, we can learn and improve how we encode and decode these messages.

First: What are the elements of NVC.

Eye contact

Facial expressions.

Gestures.

Posture.

Body language.

Social cues.

Kinetics.

Proxemics...distance.

Physical environment

Appearance

Paralanguage...voice.

Haptics...touch.

Chronemics...time usage.

Eye contact during talking and listening.

Frequency of glances.

Fixation patterns.

Pupil dilation.

Oculesics...blink rate.

These forms of NVC are encoded and decoded. If not encoded and decoded properly from receiver to retriever. Issues occur.

Challenges loom.

Scholars and authorities say that most people trust the above forms of NVC over verbal communication.

Ray Birdwhistell concludes that NVC accounts for 60 to 70 % of human communication.

SPEECH contains elements as paralanguage including voice quality, rate, pitch, loudness, speaking style, prosodic features.

These prosodic features include rhythm, intonation and stress.

WRITTEN TEXT; you will find NVC in texts, emails and letters. NVC will present itself as in handwriting, style of writing or texting. Spatial arrangement of words.

Physical layour of text or writing on a page.

Let's talk a bit about encoding and decoding NVC.

What is encoding: it is the ability to express emotions in a way that can be accurately interpreted by the receiver.

What is decoding: it is the "non verbal sensitivity". So you take the encoded emotion, and using accuracy through the fundamentals I guide you with to decode and interpret its intended meaning.

Most people do this either through learned habits.

However a leader is conscious of the subconscious of the encoding and decoding. Let the process begin.

Worksheet

  1. Write down all your ways of transmitting emotions. Use the above elements to help you.

  2. Write down a recent conversation you had and highlight all the above elements.

  3. What NVC would you like to improve on?.
