Introduce yourself! Please tell us a bit about you so we can get to know you better.

Hi, I'm Tara! I've been an entrepreneur for most of my life and have always had a passion for learning. I have owned and operated multiple businesses and love the process of developing a vision and seeing it through to the end goal. About 25 years ago, while running my hair salon, I realized I wanted to become a coach. I noticed that my clients would often seek me out for life advice. They would open up to me, sharing their stories and seeking perspective. I discovered I had a deep love for helping them navigate their lives and feel beautiful not only on the outside but also on the inside.

I was also very focused on my personal development journey. As a parent of three young children, personal development was very important. I was fascinated by everything I was learning and felt empowered by my growth. I was compelled and excited to share this transformational journey with others!

When I started in this field, coaching wasn't as mainstream then as it is now, and I often found myself explaining its principles to others. I'm thrilled to see coaching become a widely embraced tool for transformation and feel so blessed to be a catalyst for positive change.

What do you like to do when you’re not coaching?

I have a passion for writing, decorating, fashion, design, and all things creative. I thrive on being active and outdoors, where I enjoy running, hiking, playing pickleball or tennis, or simply taking a stroll on the beach. Quality time with family and friends, exploring new destinations, and continuously learning are among my greatest joys. I prefer a good book over watching TV, though I sometimes binge a good Netflix series. I also love country music and attending concerts.

I advocate for a simplified lifestyle, focusing on meaningful moments and experiences over material possessions. I feel blessed to be doing work I love and living a life I purposefully designed and created.

What inspired you to start your business, and what services do you provide?

My business was born from a strong passion for personal development and a love of helping others. Since we devote a significant portion of our lives to work, it's important to spend that time engaging in work we love while using the gifts we've been given.

My services include individual coaching, couples coaching, relationship coaching, health coaching, and business consulting.

My signature programs are all-inclusive 90-day programs that include weekly individualized one-on-one coaching, with curated homework that I like to call "lifework" because homework is boring, and creating a better life is fun! Clients learn to take aligned action toward their goals, while I provide ongoing support, inspiration, and accountability. My programs focus heavily on mindset and shifting how you see yourself, and the world, to embrace life from a positive and empowered perspective.

I derive immense joy from working closely with each client, offering them the personal attention they deserve. The deep connections and bonds I establish, along with my proven programs are key factors in their success.

Can you share some examples of successful projects or clients you've worked with in the past?

Certainly! I believe that each step forward my clients make is a success. Assisting them in shifting their mindset to feel empowered, less stressed, and more optimistic is a win. I consistently notice that as individuals begin to perceive themselves and the world in a new light, they begin showing up differently in life. This transformation in energy enables them to attract more of what they desire, leading to a happier and more fulfilled life.

Clients seeking business consulting discover that personal growth is essential for success in their professional endeavors. Once they address these aspects, they can grow their business and income more rapidly and organically. Similarly, clients seeking coaching experience a surge in self-worth, energy, and life clarity during our work together. As a result, they often achieve greater career success, such as a promotion or salary increase, even if that wasn't their initial goal.

My main objective when working with clients is to hold their agenda for them and support them in pursuing their dreams and aspirations. Every goal they achieve feels like a success for me as well, as do their expressions of gratitude for the work we do together.

How do you approach building and maintaining strong client relationships?

I believe it's crucial to ensure strong alignment with clients before beginning our coaching partnership. My initial 90-day program is designed to allow ample time to establish trust and safety, creating a platform for success. This helps clients quickly feel at ease and creates a comfortable space for learning and growth.

The intake process I've developed is a key factor as well. It helps clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and provides me with valuable insight into their aspirations, along with who they are as individuals, setting them up for success from the start.

Throughout our partnership, clients are assured that they have a dedicated partner in success at every stage. I provide ongoing support and accountability, coupled with proven strategies and systems to propel their progress. This support is valuable as many people often feel isolated and unsupported on their journey. People are overwhelmed and looking to simplify their lives to reduce stress. A game plan to follow aids in reducing stress and anxiety.

How does your company differentiate itself from competitors in the coaching industry?

I don't view business and this industry as a competitive space. I prefer to focus on my process and goals without getting distracted by what others are doing. It's easy to get caught up in comparison, especially with social media, which can lead us to lose sight of our objectives and the impact we want to make.

What distinguishes me is my unwavering dedication to my clients and the immediate connection and trust they experience in me. Often, during an initial discovery call or initial session, clients express surprise saying, "I can't believe I just shared that with you. I've never told anyone that before." It's incredibly rewarding to witness clients quickly break through barriers that have been holding them back for far too long. My innate ability to help them identify the root cause of an issue is instrumental in helping clients effect change quickly.

Tell us about your greatest career achievement so far.

My most significant achievement in my career isn't about gaining public recognition. It's found in every coaching call where I witness the change in a client, experiencing their "aha" moment firsthand. It's in those moments where I can sense their energy transform from overwhelmed and self-doubt to excitement, empowerment, hope, and happiness. These moments reassure me that I'm on the right path and make me feel truly successful, as a coach and as a human being.

Who is your ideal client?

To be honest I love everyone! Over the years I have worked with clients from all walks of life. Now my practice consists mostly of women as I am passionate about supporting and empowering women to live their lives authentically and unapologetically.
