Knowing vs. doing

You most probably know the theory. You know you want a change, you know what you need to do. Maybe you´ve read some self-help books, you follow accounts with inspirational quotes or you just know what is right for you. Yet theory without practice is only just theory. Knowing without doing is not really knowing. Don´t tell me what you know, show me what you do!

No new actions. No new results

If you are currently not happy with the results (aka the life) you have, this means your current actions are not getting you where you want to be. If you want to have other results, be willing to try out other actions. Think outside the box, talk to others to get new perspectives, and investigate how people who have done it before you did it. Then do it your own way.

Comfortable stagnant vs. uncomfortable growth

Nobody has grown out of their comfort zone. If you want to stay comfortable, that is all fine but don´t expect your life or yourself to change and evolve. If it would be that easy, everybody would be happy at all times. Think of your comfort zone as a still little lake. Water that does not move for a certain period of time – stagnant – starts to become green and smelly. This is the same for your mindset if you keep on staying where you currently are and keep on saying these same limiting thoughts to yourself. Don´t get smelly, get ready! It takes work, but it´s definitely worth it!

It can be done and yes I can do it

If someone else has done it before you, so can you! You have the same amount of hours in a day as any other successful person in the world. They just use if differently. Most of the successful persons you look up to had much less resources than you currently do. They decided to learn and grow. Be hungry for your best version, allow yourself to shine, and believe you deserve it because you do. You always do.

It's about me vs. it's about them

It´s about you, it´s never about them. Don´t compare yourself with others. Don´t accept their unsupportive attitude and don´t blame them or external factors for your own unhappy life. You always have a choice and another way to get where you want to so get creative! It is about you and your growth so be willing to look within you, to change you, to change your life.

Responsibility vs. excuses

Take 100% responsibility for your own life. All you have in life is in control of you and the result of your actions and behavior towards it. Let´s leave the excuses and stories that your brain makes up to "protect" you behind. They no longer serve your growth or happiness, more so they are only holding you back from living fully the life you want.

Acting out of love vs. lack of love

Looking at life with this distinction will make life very easy for you. You see, hurt people hurt people. If someone is acting negatively towards you, they are lacking love (this doesn´t mean we all need to agree with each other). People who feel good about themselves will do good. Whatever happens or whatever you want to do, ask yourself if you are acting out of love or out of a lack of love. What would love do? And do more of that!
