The saying "If you want something done right, do it yourself" is often used to justify micromanaging or taking on too much work.

You think there is truth to this, but in reality, it is hurting you, your business, and everyone around you.

I used to believe this, too.

It kept me from having the time, energy, and freedom I desired.

It stopped me from taking care of myself.

It took confidence away from my children because I made them believe they weren’t capable of doing it right.

It hindered my relationship with my husband because I became resentful of doing “everything.”

In reality, he was being helpful, but if it wasn’t done my way, I got frustrated.

If you believe this statement as a female business owner, it is:

  • Preventing you from hitting the next level of success with ease.

  • Keeping you from becoming the leader you desire.

  • Leaving your team unfulfilled and unmotivated in their roles because you are disempowering them.

  • Leaving you feeling exhausted, depleted, and unfulfilled.

When you try to do everything yourself, you are:

  • Taking on more work than you can handle can lead to burnout.

  • Not allowing your team to learn and grow.

  • Not seeing the big picture, as you are too focused on the details.

How about we change the saying to "If you want something done right, delegate it yourself?"

Delegation is essential for success. It allows you to focus on the most important tasks, while your team takes care of the rest.

When you delegate effectively, you:

  • Free up your time to focus on strategic initiatives.

  • Develop your team's skills and confidence.

  • Build a strong and successful business.

If you want to delegate effectively, here are a few tips:

  • Clearly define the task or project.

  • Identify the right person for the job.

  • Provide clear instructions and expectations.

  • Give your team the authority to make decisions.

  • Trust your team to get the job done.

Delegation is not about letting go of control. It is about empowering your team to succeed. When you delegate effectively, you can achieve more than you ever thought possible.

At Success Without Sacrifice, we’re on a mission to revolutionize how female entrepreneurs do business.

Just like pro-sports teams have training plans designed to avoid burnout and injury and achieve peak performance, the RAMP Method™ gives female entrepreneurs a roadmap to structure their day, week, month, and year, so they can be in peak performance at the right time, instead of all the time.

The RAMP Method™ is a proprietary system created by the co-owner of Success Without Sacrifice, Cheree Sauer. Cheree saw a gap in the marketplace for female business owners. After working with high-performing athletes for 14 years, Cheree became an entrepreneur and experienced burnout. She recognized a need to help female business owners merge the gap between business and life. She brought her knowledge of business, sports psychology, sports training, and team performance into the entrepreneurial world to help female business owners continue their success without sacrificing themselves.

There is no one size fits all, which is why the team at Success Without Sacrifice, LLC will work with you in a 1:1 capacity to help you create your RAMP Method™ roadmap that is specific to your business and life goals.
