Stress can have a big impact on the health of our scalp and hair. When we're stressed, our body produces more cortisol, which can increase oil production on the scalp and lead to dandruff. In addition, stress can also disrupt our sleep patterns, which can further impact the health of our scalp and hair. It's important to practice self-care and manage stress levels to maintain a healthy scalp and hair.

I personally, like many especially in today’s society am extremely stressed and suffer from severe anxiety. When I get anxious my body is the one to tell me, it is feeling it. One of the issues I deal with in terms of physical symptoms of my stress is an extremely dry and itchy scalp. I always have had somewhat of a dry scalp dealing with dandruff in the colder months. But now in my early 30s, I have noticed that my scalp has been taking the brunt of my anxiety and stress, becoming increasingly itchy, dry, flakey and noticeable to others. It not only was making me uncomfortable with the itchiness it was also making me even more self-conscious than I already am due to the flakiness sometimes showing on my hair.

I have tried many types of hair care products from over the counter to prescriptions from my dermatologist. Nothing ever worked and that in it's self-made me increasingly more anxious, stressed and uncomfortable.

As I noticed this past winter my scalp was becoming increasingly worse and I was determined to find a product I hadn’t used yet and hope for positive results.

I came across the Yesto brand and their new Tea Tree Scalp Relief Haircare products designed to soothe dry and itchy scalps. Tea Tree Oil, Sage Oil, and Salicylic Acid are all beneficial ingredients that can help to gently cleanse, moisturize, and soothe the scalp.

I decided to do an experiment and use the product line for a couple of months to see if I saw any results and as luck would have it, I did! I usually am not great at sticking to routines especially when it comes to haircare and skincare but I was determined to try the treatment line and be consistent and patient while waiting for results.

I have been using the haircare line for about four months now and I am happy to report my scalp is doing much better! I still have the dry itchiness but it has become much less irritated and uncomfortable. I will admit I was skeptical at first as I have tried so many of these types of products but the Yes To Tea Tree Haircare Line really worked its magic and I am pleasantly pleased with the results so far.

The Yes To Tea Tree Haircare Line includes the following:

  • Yes To Tea Tree Gentle & Soothing Pre-Shampoo Scalp Scrub - Say goodbye to buildup with this scalp scrub that helps cleanse and calm an itchy scalp.

  • Yes To Tea Tree Scalp Relief Shampoo - Lather up to soothe and calm your dry, itchy scalp with this invigorating, pH-balanced shampoo.

  • Yes To Tea Tree Soothing Scalp Treatment - Soothing scalp relief formula cleanses the scalp and removes buildup, dead skin and excess oils, leaving the scalp feeling healthy and calm.

  • Yes To Tea Tree Scalp Conditioner - The finishing step to calm your dry, itchy scalp, this conditioner hydrates and softens hair with long-lasting moisture while it helps to soothe an irritated scalp with minty, tingly relief.
