We live in a world where the appearance of our body matters so much so that sometimes we will miss out on things we want to do, or we will do them with a lot of discomforts. I myself loved the beach but disliked my body at the beach. Now, as a life coach and a scientist, I am very excited to share this guide that I created, with you because we can have fun at the beach, even when we are not feeling our hottest.

1. This beach trip is not about looking any particular way.

It is about having fun and shifting your perspective about bodies at the beach. This is why I am giving you a permission to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Whatever. I want you to relax and have fun. Your mantra is:

I have a human body and my human body is very comfortable today.

2. Beach is usually full of people and that makes it a perfect place to study other human bodies.

Observe people. Young and old. Men and women.

How do human bodies look while sitting down and moving? What about at different angles? You will notice all sorts of lumps and bumps and roles. Take it all in. It is all human so it is all normal. There is no wrong or right body at the beach. And, if they all can be there and having fun in their bodies, so can you!

3. Leave judgment at home, and bring your curiosity.

How do your feet feel on hot sand? How is the cool water against your skin as you step in the 1st time? How about the 10th time? Can you feel the sun on our back as you bend to write your name in the sand? Be curious.

4. We all have human brains and that makes us a very self-obsessed species. Seriously.

People at the beach are either enjoying themselves and not caring about much else.

Or...

They are obsessing about their own body.

So, don't worry about what others will think. The ones who don't know you, do not care. The ones who came with you already like you. Have fun.

5. Here is the final truth: you are fabulous just as you are, however you can't see it right now.

Just like many other women, who to you look fabulous, you will look amazing to others, but you yourself can not see it. Trust me on this. It is all about what you think about yourself and what kind of images your brain has been programmed to like.

For now, let's just focus on having fun and loving life, and when you are ready you can work on changing how you see yourself.

See you around :)
