Jonathan Kilian

Physical Therapist, CSCS

Jon Kilian is currently a clinic manager at the physical therapy clinic where he works in Virginia, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Certified Special Populations Specialist (CSPS) both through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has been published through various peer reviewed journals such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Health and Fitness Journal, and NSCA Coach, and Personal Trainers Quarterly. He received his BS in Exercise Science from Liberty University in 2017 and both a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Lynchburg and a master’s in Exercise Science and Wellness - Fitness and Performance cognate through Liberty University in 2022. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Exercise and Sport Science. Kilian brings his unique perspective of strength minded rehabilitation through his education, experience, and collegiate athletic involvement in order to promote more efficient and effective information and treatment for injured populations. He believes that the human body was made to be resilient and capable of athletic movement, regardless of the population at hand. Rehab and strength and conditioning are both on the same continuum of training for performance, and using these thought processes, Kilian strives to promote strength and independence for his patients.
