What is empathy? The definition, according to the Oxford Dictionary, is "the ability to understand and share feelings with another." If you already practice it, you may notice good things happening to you in your life. What is the connection between empathy and how your life is going? The answer is the universal law. The universe is out there waiting in the wings for you to ask for help. Its laws are there for you to follow, and when you do, you can manifest your heart's desires.

We strive for balance in our lives because it means less stress so we can be happy. If you follow any of the universal laws, you will maintain balance in your life within that law. Let's look at a popular one, The law of attraction. What you focus on is what you attract. If you focus on empathy, a positive emotion (for humans and animals alike), this will result in a balance between you and the universe, and you will manifest something good. However, if you focus on the negative, it will result in an imbalance, and you will manifest something you don't want.

Empathy is a positive way of being and will result in your desired manifestations because it stems from your heart rather than your head. Your head creates doubt and negative emotions, but your heart is always coming from love and compassion, so if you are looking for answers or want to be more positive, think from the heart. The best way to do this is to close your eyes and imagine you are in your heart space. Live there for a few minutes. Notice how you feel and what you feel. It is easy to be empathetic when you think from embodiment rather than the head.

Maybe you are already an empathetic person but still don't get what you want. What is out of balance for you? Perhaps you are there for others more than you are for yourself. We are not perfect beings, far from it, and it is natural for us to be hard on ourselves.

After all, we are told to be the best rather than to do the best we can. Give yourself permission to be kind to yourself as well as others.

Once you practice empathy and put it into action on a regular basis, it becomes a part of you, and when you approach any situation in your life like that, people will associate you with this positive energy. This means the people that appreciate it will enjoy it with you, and the ones that don't will fall away. It will cause a domino effect in your life to make it just the way you want it. Enjoy the love and positivity in your life through empathy and manifest away!
