All it takes is laughing with your friends, family, colleagues, co-shoppers, and other people. However, stress has become a lifestyle choice. Even if it is not something we consciously admit to, it is part of how we live our lives, affecting us emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Three people sitting and laughing on a stone wall, with a misty forest backdrop. They're wearing casual jackets and appear joyful.

We try to cover it up with spa days, holidays, date nights, meal subscriptions, and whatnot, but it slowly manifests as aches and pains that are not going away.

A poorly stomach makes for a sick day, and that is just the beginning.

The signs of stress have us squirming without even realising it is the stressful habits we have all created as part of our lifestyle.

Although stress is not a mental health condition, it can quickly lead to someone experiencing mental ill health and potentially developing the feeling of being unwell in the mind to a full diagnosis.

Practising Laughter Yoga does not remove the challenges or reverse problems, whether they are health, work, family, finance, relationship, or otherwise related to our everyday living.

However, having a daily practice of Laughter Yoga can certainly alleviate some of the tension we may feel and help us recalibrate while navigating the corners and hurdles we call “every day.”

There are many stories of how people practised daily Laughter Yoga and overcame critical conditions, both physical and mental illnesses.

The human body is an awesome factory of chemical reactions and fusions. Laughter simply brings about the best internal connections and responses.

I laugh for a living and for a stress-free life, and this is my story of why I started laughing every day: Visit it here.

In addition, I teach Mental Health First Aid, and the combination of the two makes the training enjoyable, flexible, and a positive experience on a serious topic.

Laughter happens in the moment we choose it and can impact how we are now and in the future.

We ignite a joy cocktail, which can last all day, to splash around our body. We reignite the connection with ourselves and each other as we become healthy and motivated, as well as great colleagues and friends, plus we cope better with ups and downs.

Are you ready?

Laugh for 1 minute to bring mindfulness and peace to your busy minds.

Even if you do not feel in the mood, everyone can say “hahaha,” and the muscle movement of the lips and cheeks, lifting the corners of your mouth, connects with the pleasure centres in the brain and kicks off the biochemical response.
