As a society, we have grown away from nature, learned to be a cog in the machine, in the hustle and bustle, to push and push, to break glass ceilings, all for that life moment of retirement when you can supposedly start to enjoy life. What if you could enjoy life more now?

In the dance of life, aligning our conscious and subconscious minds with the natural world can be a transformative journey filled with benefits that resonate throughout our entire being. Let's explore the interplay between our conscious awareness and the powerful workings of the subconscious, discovering three tips you can use to experience more flow and ease.

The symbiotic symphony: Conscious and subconscious alignment

1. Enhanced awareness through conscious alignment

Conscious alignment involves actively engaging with nature through intentional practices. Whether it's mindful walks, meditations in nature, or outdoor yoga sessions, these conscious activities bring your awareness to the present moment, fostering a deeper connection with the environment. Heightened awareness not only amplifies your sensory experiences but also allows you to appreciate the intricate beauty of the natural world around you. In this we can begin to find appreciation of the natural way of being, observing how various plants and animals co-exist in beautiful harmony and balance in the wild. A wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of where we might create more harmony and balance in our own lives.

2. Subconscious integration: The silent partner in alignment

Whilst we might think we are consciously playing out our lives from moment to moment, the subconscious is, in fact, quietly and powerfully influencing our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. As such, aligning the subconscious with nature involves identifying the beliefs and belief systems that nature operates and integrating these into the powerful operating system of the subconscious. In addition, we can affect our body-mind (subconscious) on an energetic level by immersing ourselves in natural surroundings and allowing our mind to absorb the calming and grounding energies. Body-mind alignment can occur effortlessly during activities that create a meditative state. Anything from cycling and being "in the zone" to hiking, stargazing, or simply lying on the grass, sitting at the beach and staring at the ocean, and believe it or not, you can even drop into this state when cleaning! I know I do. When your brain drops into alpha brainwaves, this meditative state opens you up to reprogramme your neural pathways; here, we can create new beliefs!

3. The joyful dance: Conscious and subconscious in sync

When the conscious and subconscious mind harmonise, we create a powerful alignment of the core principles of nature, creating a life in more harmony with what is life. By consciously engaging with nature and integrating these experiences into your subconscious, you unlock a powerful force that brings positivity, balance, resilience, and a playful sense of wonder into your life. Imagine if everyone on the planet lived in alignment with nature; lived from a place of being in balance with each other and all other life. What would this look like?

Three tips for conscious and subconscious alignment with nature

1. Journaling

Start a journal to reflect on your conscious experiences and observations in nature. Record the sights, sounds, and feelings evoked during your outdoor activities. This practice will raise awareness of what you see as beneficial and contributory to life and wellness and also serves as a tool to integrate these positive experiences into your subconscious, creating a reservoir of joyful memories.

2. Visualisation techniques

Incorporate visualisation into your conscious alignment practices. During meditation or mindful walks, visualise the natural elements around you integrating into your subconscious. Picture the Earth's energy grounding you, the flow of water cleansing your thoughts, and the warmth of the sun infusing your body and mind with healing light. This visualisation reinforces the alignment between your conscious and subconscious minds with the natural elements.

3. Nature-inspired beliefs & affirmations

Craft affirmations that align with the natural world and repeat them regularly. Beliefs like "It's safe for me to communicate from my heart" or "Collaborating with others is exciting and expansive" connect your conscious mind with the way nature operates and does so with such grace. As you repeat these affirmations, over time, they embed into your subconscious, fostering a deeper alignment with the natural principles that surround you. Working with a mindset coach enhances and speeds up the integration of your nature-inspired beliefs through body-mind tools that allow direct communication with the subconscious mind and your higher self. Your beliefs can be programmed into your subconscious during a session, removing the need to repeat them daily.

Parting thoughts

Creating and integrating beliefs that stem from how nature operates so wonderfully, so gracefully, with so much ease and flow, we too, become more of this. What would a life with more ease look like for you? How would it feel to move through life with more grace and wonder? The question to ask yourself is, why wouldn't you wish this for yourself?
