Unfortunately, even the closest family and social environment will not always be happy for her success. You can be labeled arrogant and selfish. On the one hand, you become perceived as selfish because your leadership could make you sound arrogant. On the other hand, you are considered selfish because you did not take everyone with you towards the same success—like if you had a boat and everybody needed to be in it. Even if you have always been generous and helping whenever you can, you can never be appreciated the same way ever again. You need to be ready for that. Yes, excellence should be your brand. It will be the best response that you could give to injustice, attacks, and toxic people around you. And most importantly, excellence is the best gift you can give to herself.
