Many entrepreneurs understand the importance of professional brand photos when it comes to elevating their brand and accelerating their connection with their dream clients. Brand photos are an important part of your brand and marketing assets. And if you are investing in brand photography, you would want to maximize your ROI.

Many business owners fall into the idea of brand photography are just professional portraits of themselves and they are more focused on what to wear and how they look in the photos. That is totally understandable as everyone wants to look their very best in photos. However, considering the purpose of your brand images is to market your business, your brand images need to work with your marketing. You would want your brand images fit for purpose so that you can use these images in your day-to-day marketing activities. If you haven’t yet had your marketing strategy mapped out in your business, you should hold off having your brand photoshoot until you have. Your brand photos are not just there to make your website, or your social media profile look high-end and professional, they serve the important purpose of communicating your brand and your offer. They have the power of capturing your dream clients’ emotions and improving the conversion rate of your posts, your sales page, your lead magnets etc. A photographer specialized in personal branding should naturally be able to guide you and help you with creating images for your marketing needs. But if you are like some, who trust your mate who is a photography enthusiast, your photographer friend, or your wedding or family photographer to take photos for your business, it’s crucial that you do the prep work yourself and brief your photographer according. Instead of thinking about how you should look, what you should wear, here are a few questions you should think about before you book your next brand shoot: Do you have particular launches/offers coming up? What type of marketing content are you going to use your photos with?

Have you thought of your marketing messages/copies? Where are you using your photos? (Website, Social Media Post, Landing page, Banner, Email marketing) What are your brand values, brand voice? Whatever you choose to do, the SINGLE MOST important consideration is that your brand images need to resonate with your dream clients.
