Tomas Svitorka, High Performance Coach & Business Mentor

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better. (Feel free to share your hobbies, your passions, your family life, your pets and anything that makes you unique.)

I'm Tomas Svitorka (39). I'm a performance coach living in London (UK). I passionately fill up my life to the rim with my work, my relationship, our golden retriever Lulu, all things running, metal music and playing electric guitar, my aquarium and my unwavering obsession with personal development.

I'm blissfully dissatisfied.

I'm very proud and happy with what I've accomplished so far while still striving for more. Much more.

What kind of audience do you target your business towards?

My 1:1 performance coaching focuses on helping entrepreneurs, CxOs, and managers, finetuning their inner and outer game and bringing the best out of themselves in their personal and professional lives.

My Unbreakable Self-Discipline Bootcamp is for anyone struggling to be consistent and disciplined with their goals and everyday tasks. Self-discipline is the bedrock of any accomplishment in life. I believe my course is the best one out there regarding self-discipline.

What are your current goals for your business?

I have too many goals to share here. In fact, for several years, I've been sharing my annual goals publicly on my website, where I update my progress every month.

This year I have set over 60 goals in various areas of my life, such as Business, Value, Health & Fitness, Personal development etc.

It's one of my most popular and visited pages on my website.

Why do I do it?

There are five reasons:

  1. For those thinking of working with me, I want to show that I walk my talk.

  2. I want others to see me fail. Wait, what? That's right. Failure is an essential part of progress. Pursuing ambitious goals never goes smooth. That's part of the game. I hope that when others see me facing my challenges, they will drop the idea of perfectionism and get on with their goals and dreams.

  3. I want to inspire you to be more courageous with your own goals and be more driven, committed and disciplined.

  4. I want to show others how I get stuff done, set goals, and work towards them so they can apply it for their own growth.

  5. Lastly, sharing my goals creates the pressure and accountability I need (and want) to push myself. (Trust me, I don't always feel motivated either. But so what?)

Who inspires you to be the best that you can be?

My fiance, our golden retriever Lulu, my family, and my clients.

They all inspire and motivate me to be the best I can be for them and as a person in general. The better I am, the more valuable contribution I can make.

There are a few people I admire and look up to for various reasons. Usually, for their tenacity, perseverance, discipline, audacity, and sacrifice to their calling.

On the top of my list are Elon Musk and David Goggins.

What is your work inspired by?

I love seeing human potential manifested in spectacular ways.

When I help others to tap into that and achieve something they never thought was possible, that is where I'm ultimately inspired and in my element.

I love when people go, "OMG, I can't believe I just did this."

Priceless.

I'm inspired by the fact that we can grow, improve, become better and make a better life for ourselves and others.

I'm excited by the fact that there's no limit to how much we can grow. That's just wonderful. I wish more people were excited about this.

Tell us about your greatest achievement so far.

Becoming the person I'm proud of and respect.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

I don't have a tragic story.

I just decided I didn't want to be average, and I never looked back.

My journey truly started in my early 20s when I realised that I was just cruising in life. I didn't want to have an OK life. I wanted to have a great life! I wanted to put my life on a "success trajectory" and become the person I could be proud of and truly respect. I started to search for how I could improve and discovered personal development.

It changed my life. Personally and professionally.

Seeing its impact on my life, I wanted to help others go through the same transition.

The closest thing I knew was to become a psychotherapist. So I went back to university and completed my degree in psychology, realising that helping others get back to normal wasn't for me. I wanted to help others be the best they could be, to perform at their highest level. So I trained as a coach and started my coaching practice.

Nine years later, here I am, living my dream.

I can't think of anything else I'd rather do.
