Dr Margaret Potter, Education Consultant/Performance Coach

Who is Margaret?

I was born in New Zealand, the 'land of the long white cloud' (Aotearoa) and the Maori culture is an important part of my DNA. After completing studies in Physiotherapy, I moved to Western Australia to complete postgraduate studies in Sport Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy focused on communication in health. This has led to a 20+ year successful career working in the healthcare and education sectors. Currently, I’m the Director of TELL Centre which offers the award-winning Teaching on the Run Program for health professionals and also work as a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf and have had a great deal to do with assisting junior golfers to enhance their performance through development of their mental skills. This led me to publishing a best-selling book, Mind Hack Your Golf: Improve Your Game, which provided a framework for assisting individuals to develop their mental skills.

What is it that you do for your clients?

As a Professional Certified Coach (ICF), Emotional Intelligence Certified Coach (Genos International), DISC and Workshop Leader Certified (24x7 assessments) I regularly work with individuals and groups to build self-awareness, self-management, leadership and performance skills. In addition, I deliver training programs focused on leadership development, behaviour profiling, communication skills conflict resolution, teaching, assessment and facilitation skills. My focus is on being client-centred, reliable and authentic. This enables me to provide high-quality coaching and education programs that address specific needs.

Who should hire/work with you?

I’m passionate about supporting individuals, groups and organisations to optimise communication, teamwork, and workplace-based performance. My clients are diverse and include elite athletes, work-based teams, middle managers, senior executives and CEOs.
