Could you please provide an overview of your business – Connor Trott Fitness and its primary mission or goals?

Connor Trott Fitness is a culture of strong, high-achieving women looking to accomplish their health and wellness goals through knowledge, self-belief, and community. I strive to instill confidence in their knowledge and acceptance of bodies so that fitness is never a source of shame or misunderstanding with my members. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach through NASM and have helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals over the past two years. What inspired you to create this business, and what do you hope to achieve in the long term?

I created Connor Trott Fitness initially as a side hustle while working as a CPA because I wanted to expand the reach I had with helping others with their own health and wellness journeys because of the benefits I experienced from it in my own professional career. I felt like fitness gave me a rooted foundation and a belief in myself to tackle any obstacle or goal professionally or personally and I felt like I had the tools to serve others in a similar way. I began with helping family and friends in and outside of the gym and began growing my online presence through social media to expand my clientele and reach. Long-term I hope to cultivate a community of thousands of strong, independent women who take their ability with their health and wellness into other dimensions of their life and continue to foster and inspire their own communities surrounding them to lead healthier lives.

What products or services do you offer, and what sets them apart from competitors in your industry?

I help my clients with online fitness coaching services through 14-Day Meal Plans, Weekly Customized Workout plans, Weekly Accountability Check-ins, Weekly Wellness Lessons, and 24/7 communication support to help them achieve their fitness goals on a user-friendly Mobile App. What sets apart Connor Trott Fitness from competitors is the access and support my clients have directly to me, the knowledge instilled on a weekly basis from Lessons and direct candid feedback, and the community of like-minded driven women looking to support and encourage one another along their collective journeys together. If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?

I would change the level of realistic appearance and change when it comes to year-round natural body expectations and standards. It would be unrealistic to expect to see results in week 1 or even month 1 if you are just starting out. It may also be unrealistic to expect the stranger with 20+ years of training and diet experience to post all of their offseason photos on social media for you to see how they look when they are in their building phase of the year and not their leanest, tightest, or toned. For someone who is just beginning on their own fitness journey, there can be a lot of shame and discouragement built up in their own mind if it is something they have dealt with for a very long time. It can also be disheartening to always see the best photos with the best lighting at the best times of the year from people who have been doing it for longer and who may or may not always be honest with their results. For the sake of setting a realistic bar in terms of achievement and feeling good about our own progress every step of the way, body standards and acceptance are concepts I look to instill into my own clients. I do this so I can provide them with positive reinforcement and peace of mind when making incremental progress and comparison comes in the back door to try to throw us off course.
