Julie McLennan
Neurodiversity Counsellor & Group Facilitator
Julie McLennan started a private practice in neurodiversity after coming across countless clients who were either misdiagnosed or no one had picked up on what was underlying their anxiety, depression and substance use disorders. She found that once someone's life aligned with their values and the way their brain worked, mental health issues improved dramatically. Her work was then to address the trauma that people experienced from attempting to live a neurotypical life with a neuroexceptional brain and the grief that the misalignment wasn't discovered earlier. Her mission is now to provide psychoeducation, counselling and community for those who have never found their fit.
