Dr. Misty D. Freeman is a cultural and diversity strategist. She examines the impact of unconscious bias on students of color in the academic environment. In addition, Dr. Misty believes in leading efforts that address the unique needs of black girls. She has developed a passion for helping students of color succeed in and out of the classroom. With over 20 years of experience in education, she knows firsthand the challenges students of color face. Dr. Misty D. Freeman is the founder and CEO of Mocha Sprout.
