Highlights from the 2022 list

Uche Okolie

Uche Okolie is a leader in trauma, mental health, and identity. As a Black Woman, Immigrant, and Social Worker, she has witnessed the impact trauma can have on mental health and well being, the systems that protect it, and the barriers the prevent healing. She became empowered to help others better understand and heal their trauma. Her proven strategies utilize a combination of evidence based practices that help Black and Brown Folks understand the physical, emotional, mental, and relational aspects of trauma. She created Uche Okolie Counseling, LCSW Inc., for this purpose. As CEO, her mission is "healing, confidence, balance," hoping to empower others to live their best, and most authentic lives.
