Kaitlyn Kenealy

Kaitlyn Kenealy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), entrepreneur, and advocate for Mental Health Awareness and Well-being. Kaitlyn’s charismatic personality paired with her life/professional experiences, training, certification, and core theoretical and multidimensional approach to treating clients distinguishes her as a mental health champion and talented Psychotherapist (e.g., Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Care, Batterers Treatment, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy [DBT], QPR, Motivational Interviewing). Kaitlyn specializes in the areas of Trauma and PTSD, Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, and Self-Esteem; in practice, she is direct, solution-focused, and passionate in assisting clients attain their goals. In addition to her private practice, Kenealy Counselling, LLC, Kaitlyn is involved with many local mental health services, outreach, and proactive community involvement (e.g., Suicide Risk Assessments [Y-Screen], Camp Reunite, School-based Therapy, Co-chair of the Prevent Suicide Committee and Mental Health Access Committee). She has been the recipient of the “Woman of Vision and Courage” award, “SHEro” award through a local Women’s Fund, the “Woman of Achievement” award, and is nominated for the “Future 5” and “Young Professional of the Year” awards. Kaitlyn is also the host of “Tea Time with the Psychos” podcast, focusing on important mental health topics while helping to break associated stigmas. She is the author of “Healing is Messy AF” and has recently launched her own mental health clothing line. As an entrepreneur, Kaitlyn plans to launch online courses and coaching programs to facilitate mental health wellness. Her mission: “Remove barriers of getting individuals and families the services they need” and one of her many taglines: "The Only Way Out Is THROUGH!”
